Home emergency call service - White Cross
Living safely at home: Most people wish to be able to continue living carefree within their own four walls in older age despite health or physical limitations.
In this case, the home emergency call device of the White Cross can offer support and is proven to be a preventive and life-saving device. The home emergency call system consists of a so-called stationary base unit and an emergency call transmitter, which can be comfortably carried with you at home.
For whom is the home emergency call system suitable?
The home emergency call service is suitable for all people who want to maintain their independence even when they suffer from physical limitations, chronic illnesses, or age-related impairments. The service is also suitable as a preventive measure for people of all ages living alone who want to feel safe and in good hands within their own four walls.
Technical requirements
- Available power socket in the house
- Available GSM mobile phone network
Installation
An employee of the White Cross will install the home emergency call device and explain you how to use the system. Together with the employee, you will carry out a test alarm to become familiar with the home emergency call system.
Costs
- One-time connection fee: this is not charged for White Cross members.
- Monthly fee: this includes all emergency call services of the White Cross.
Payments can be executed using the SEPA Direct Debit.
Financial contributions
You can apply for a financial contribution at your local social welfare office. Contributions will only be paid once the application has been submitted and approved. Invoices issued before approval are not considered.
