Localisation system Otiom - White Cross

The localisation system Otiom gives the user more security and thus more freedom. For relatives, it is a great reassurance to be able to locate the user quickly in case of emergency.

The centrepiece of the system is the Otiom device, which the user should always carry with him or her. The user is only located by the caregiver via the app in an emergency situation, e.g. if he gets lost, then he can be brought back home safely. He is not permanently monitored.

Otiom automatically sends a warning to the caregiver if the user leaves a certain area (e.g. his own village) or does not return home within a certain time (e.g. 3 hours). In addition, the caregiver can manually locate the user in case of a suspected emergency.

For whom is the home emergency call system suitable?

The localisation device is suitable for people who are physically and/or mentally NOT able to trigger an alarm. For example, for people with certain physical or mental limitations such as dementia or Down syndrome. The person must want to wear it voluntarily. The device can also be sewn into clothing and can be washed at up to 60 degrees.
