Human Centric Lighting

HCL is artificial lightning in harmony with the human biorhythm. The RECOVER luminaire promotes patient recovery by mapping the natural course of the day through colour temperature changes. In this way RECOVER supports the physiological performance curve. The day begins with a simulation of the rising sun. During the morning, the light colour changes from neutral white to daylight white. This light colour has an activating, energising effect, giving each day a fresh start.
The brightness is then reduced for a relaxing midday break. Neutral white afternoon light supports wakefulness and re-activation, before the gradual disappearance of blue light promotes the formation of the sleep hormone melatonin, and the day winds down in the red glow of the sunset.
